Privacy policy

This policy explains what information the games of RTN Studios (currently BallerFactory), their apps and this website use, why, and what your choices are. They are made by Alpy BV ("we"), which is responsible for this information. Questions: support@rtnstudios.be.
In short: you play without giving your name or email. Career saves stay on your device. For online play we keep a random account, the nickname you choose and your teams. We do not sell data and show no advertising.
What we use and why

Legal bases
We use your information because it is needed to provide the game you asked for (online play, purchases, your profile), because of our legitimate interest in keeping the game working, fair and safe (crash reports, anonymous usage counts, moderation), with your consent where we ask for it (notifications, optional sign-in), and where the law requires it.
Who else receives information
We do not sell or rent your information. We use these service providers, who process it for us under contract:
- Railway: hosting of our server and database.
- Apple and Google: app stores, payments, Sign in with Apple / Google, and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- RevenueCat: checks in-app purchases with Apple and Google. It receives your random account id and your purchases.
- Sentry: crash reports, when switched on.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your choices and rights
- Switch off usage counts and crash reports in Settings → Help improve BallerFactory, and notifications in Settings or your phone settings.
- Delete your account at any time in Settings → Online account, or as described on this page.
- You have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Email support@rtnstudios.be; we answer within one month.
- You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
BallerFactory is about youth football, but it is made for players aged 13 and older. Players do not need to give their name or email to play. If you are a parent and believe your child under 13 created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Connections to our server are encrypted (HTTPS). Sign-in keys and recovery codes are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. For important changes we tell you in the game.
